Public Golfing Access

The Hong Kong Golf Club has established itself as one of Asia’s premier golf clubs and its courses and amenities – at both the Fanling and Deep Water Bay sites – have been enjoyed by both members and visitors alike for generations.

Visitors can be assured a warm welcome at the Club and are able to book tee-times for weekday play year-round up to seven days in advance. Furthermore, Hong Kong residents* are eligible for discounted green fees, with special rates in place for regular 18-hole and ‘twilight’ (after 3pm) rounds. The Club’s driving range at Fanling, one of the best practice facilities in the region, is open to the public every night of the week (from 5pm to 10pm).

Visiting golfers are highly valued by the club – and the feeling is clearly reciprocated. Of the more than 116 thousand rounds that were played on the courses during 2018, 44.3 per cent were played by non-members.
